Hoff the agony aunt

When you are young, restless and bored to death what do you do? Talk to David Hasselhoff. The Hoff who was living it up at Coachella over the weekend proved to be rather a good company to hordes of his young and pretty new girl-friends. Even UK's stroppy princess Peaches Geldof got to talk to him over an orange juice (just to be safe- she is underage in USA and he's recovering alcoholic) and pored her heart out to him. The Hoff was overheard telling her: 'Laugh at yourself before they do and that way they can't win.' That's very deep David. Apparently disgraced pop princess Britney Spears has been given his advice too. Do we see any Hoff chat show coming up any time soon?

Nesting

The Jolie/Pitt household landed in South of France to prepare for birth of their two new additions. Angelina will be promoting her 2 new movies in Cannes next month so it makes sense they will settle there for time being as she also wants to give birth in Marseille, the place where her mum was born. They are staying in Microsoft's founder Paul Allen's mega villa in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat.

Gwyneth Paltrow admitted broken her toes at least 30 times! She also visited her doctor complaining of back pain. Well Gwyn, with the shoes you are sporting these days on your promotional tour it is no wonder. Maybe you could take a hint from Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, she wears flats all the time and still looks glam. Attractiveness is not always in heels you know.

Rhys got a hint

Finally Rhys Ifans realised that leaving Sienna Miller on her own is not such a good idea and jets off today to meet her in Adelaide/Australia where she is filming her new movie A woman of no importance. Clearly a wrong title for a globetrotting lady that Sienna is. Gossip columnists already speculate that Rhys could persuade Sienna to marry him while on location as they both hate the pressure of British press and dream of quiet wedding. They also like the idea of a wedding by the sea and we bet Australia's shores are more adequate to their hippy nature than wild Welsh coast.

We do. But we couldn't recognise him in this picture. Rob is still at war with EMI so he turned into UFOlogist for radio programme on BBC4 and we've heard it's brilliant. Looks like working in the radio does its trick as Robbie puts a few pounds on but he didn't gain just weight but also a new girlfriend Suzanne. They've been together for four months and are very happy. She is an account manager in one of Hollywood's talent agencies so she could get Robbie some extra work, maybe a theme tune for Mickey Mouse Club?

Could there be a trouble in Herzigova/Marsiaj household? Oh no, it is just model Eva on Harpers photoshoot. Looks like she had some practise before though, maybe all those years as a wife of Bon Jovi's drummer Tico Torres left some scars after all.

Disgraced CSI star Gary Dourdan was caught in LA with stash of drugs such as heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, you name it... Is he trying to get a new job after leaving CSI after this season as a top class dealer? He is not much successful at that though and now faces prospect of spending few months behind bars. Well, with no possible job in sight it might not be a problem.

It's gonna happen

Looks like Kate Moss will really marry Jamie Hince. It was reported they hired a Wapping food hall the fire station in East London for 6th September to held a massive party for all their friends. The ceremony itself will be held in Cotswold, Kate's country house but she will go to celebrate to London where she can let her hair down. Commiseration Jamie, we hope you know what you're getting yourself into.

It's a final countdown

Kate Beckinsale has far too much to say on her life, she just won't shut up about it. After all the claims she made about amazing body and amazing man that her husband is she now talks again about ex Michael Sheen. Is it because he is becoming a star in US on his own that she had to share a story when Michael punched her co-star Jeremy Northam on the set of their movie Golden Bowl years ago? Apparently Michael punched him when Jeremy shouted on Kate during a break. It was shortly after she gave birth to her daughter Lily so Michael felt bit over protective and it all ended in a handshake between the two man. But seriously Kate, we wouldn't boast about the accident. Why exactly did Jeremy become so vocal? Did you screw your line again? No wonder she doesn't talk about that.

What a lovely couple

We are nearly dissapointed that this is not a pic from real life, just look at Jim Carey and Rodrigo Santoro make a perfect couple while filming I love you Phillip Morriss. Jim plays a gay conman who goes to prison. Ewan McGregor also stars and as the both of them were seen last week in gay bars we fear Rodrigo might lose his partner. At least in a movie.

That's what you call a method acting

Our fave Robert Downey jr. said that he became coke addict after working on a movie Less than zero where he portrayed an addict. We are all for method acting but alongside the word 'method' there is also a word 'acting'Rob! If he has problem with that he should stuck with romantic comedies. And as he now stars in Iron Man we hope he won't turn into one. Did anyone check recetly what he's been up to in his free time???

Everyone's favourite girl next door Jennifer Aniston is reportedly dating US singer John Mayer. She seems to be getting round a lot these days and so is he- Jessica Simpson, Cameron Diaz on his side and whoever's around in Jen's case. If she carries on in this fashion she will soon lose her angelic image, every week new man, way to go Jen. Or maybe she's just trying to quash those gay rumours about John. Friend in need...

Going wild

Now we understand why Rhys Ifans won't let Sienna Miller off his sight. He finally let her go for few days in LA after she finally accepted his proposal of marriage but it might not have been the best idea as she was caught hugging singleton Jared Leto at Coachella festival in California. Looks like everyone was having a great time, including The Hoff and ever so glamorous Dita Von Teese.

Loser

Amy Winehouse denies she is dating her manager's assistant who was supposed to look after her. Is she just trying to save her skin as her husband is furious by the news and threatens to take troubled star to court to get divorce and demand cool £3mil. She should have told her parents first as they already talked to the press over the weekend, her mum saying how happy she is for her daughter as she finally met the right man and her father talking of his dissilution as he was the one who suggested someone took care of her. Well, he isn't doing best job, since he moved into her flat Amy's life seems out of control with her assaulting everyone in sight and partying all night long. He might be nice and clean but he is useless in looking after her. It also emerged that Amy doesn't have any deal with Bond makers as Mark Ronson told the NME, there is no deal and although they have recorded the tune they can only prey it will get picked up. But we are not so sure Broccoli family will want to associate their franchise with troubled singer. All we say is- Amy, get lost!

Just reckless

Kate Moss has been critised after she recklessly drove her daughter Lila on quad bike in the fields of her country estate at the weekend. After what happened to Ozzy Osborne on a similar bike she should take better care, especially if the health of her own child is at risk. She won't get Mother of the year accolade anytime soon.

British TV star Kris Marshall is in intensive care after he was hit by a car outside the pub. He has severe head injuries and although he regained consciosness he's hardly on top form. We hope he will bounce back and we will see him again soon on stage.

High standards

The management company had to change hotel booking for English rockers Primal Scream as they realised their 5 star hotel didn't have a swimming pool. Keen swimmers will play in Leeds next month and didn't care about how many stars the hotel had but if it doesn't include a pool they won't book in. Are they planning on crossing the channel to go their summer festivals in Europe?

Last time we showed you a pic of Jared Leto sitting pretty outside his fave restaurant but it seems that he now prefers cooking his meals at home as he did a massive food shopping at Whole Foods in LA. We bet he had a great Saturday night party...

While Pete Doherty is still kept in prison his art went on show in Paris yesterday. Small gallery on Montmartre is exhibiting Pete's latest work, including some rather awful pictures of Kate Moss and Pete's self portraits covered in blood and syringes. We wonder how did anyone manage to put it on show without a health warning.

Something to jump about

It emerged that Tom Cruise will do another chat with his friend Oprah Winfrey. Remember the last time he jumped on sofa with excitement of finding one true love (Katie Holmes) but since then he seemed to calmed down. But only seemed so. We heard the gossip that he asked Victoria Beckham to design costumes for his next movie Hardy Men. Oh yes, big bucks for Vicky but will she try to force Tom into wearing her super skinny jeans now they were binned by high street stores in LA? Won't be jump so fast then Tom.

Love is the strangest thing Amy

Amy Winehouse will be arrested today for assaulting a man after her wild night in Camden 2 days ago. She will be in the prison on the same day as her beloved husband Blake Fielder-Civil goes to court to face charges. They should perhaps ask for a joined cell so they could pen the biography they are rumoured to be writing about their relationship for a cool £1 million. Amy's wealth is estimated £10mil so it can be nice added bonus, though she won't probably see much of her cash as she splashes it up her nose, arms and we don't even want to think where else.

You can puff now

The judge in Burbank dismissed charges against Shia Labeouf after he was caught smoking indoors. It is waste of taxpayers money to prosecute the star who's biggest lost will be when he gets lung cancer so puff away happily while you can Shia, we'll see who will have a last laugh.

Gucci knows what their customers want as they revealed their new faces for autumn 2008. James Franco took time off his university studies to become face for their men grooming products while Claire Danes will be staring in their fine jewellery campaign. We can't wait to see the ads.

The other day we told you how fed up we are with hailed 'style icons' Kate, Aggy and Sienna so who should you follow when looking for style advice? Nobody! You should be yourself and embrace your personality. So, we salute people like Roisin Murphy and Alison Goldfrapp who are amazing on the stage as well as off and newcomer model Daisy Lowe, always sweet and young to get away with anything.

Something for a weekend

This weekend we expect a heatwave so what to do to follow in the celebrities footsteps? Go to park. You can go for a jog like Madonna, grub some lunch at park cafe like Reece Witherspoon, stroll with your kids like Monica Bellucci or simply laid down and relax like Keira Knightley and Rupert Friend. So much to do, so little time. Enjoy!

Third time lucky

Carmen Electra and Rob Patterson from Korn are engaged. The happy couple announced the news after Carmen's Birthday bash in Las Vegas. This time Rob you better watch out as Carmen is finally planning children so if you ever separate you might not get off so lightly as your predecessors Dennis Rodman and Dave Navarro.

Thank goodness you are still alive

Thank God for Tribeca Film Festival. At least we saw some true Hollywood stars who came to the opening of famous festival. Its founder Robert de Niro looked dandy as usual while David Bowie and Iman shone with gloss (we wouldn't expect anything less from Ziggy Stardust) and Anjelica Huston is just having a laugh with true Hollywood legend Lauren Bacall. We are jealous.
