Actress Kristen Dunst explained in an interview that she had spent six months trying to battle depression, but eventually realised she needed help which is why she checked in to a Utah facility.

She tells E! News: "I didn't go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse. I went there for depression. It was a good six months before I decided to go away.

"I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it.

"My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn't know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge."

Dunst admits speculation about her health and personal problems haven't helped her in her battle: "Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about.

"There's been a lot of misrepresentation about what is going on in my life... (That's) very painful for my friends and family.

"Everyone feels like they have to defend me. They hear the rumours, and it puts them in a defensive position. Now that I'm feeling stronger, I'm prepared to say something."

The 27-year-old actress quietly wed producer Cash Warren on Monday, her publicist, Brad Cafarelli, said Tuesday in an e-mail to The Associated Press. Cafarelli didn't give further details.
The pair became engaged last December following Alba's announcement that she's expecting a baby with Warren, 31. They met on the set of the 2005 film "The Fantastic Four," .

Condolences to Natascha McElhone

Actress Natasha McElhone’s husband was found dead on the doorstep of their London home last night. Martin Kelly , a leading British plastic surgeon, was found by a colleague. The 42-year-old is believed to have suffered a heart attack.The death come unexpected , as Kelly was in good health.
McElhone, who is pregnant with her and Kelly’s third child, was filming in the United States when her husband died. She and Kelly have two sons, 8-year-old Theodore and 5-year-old Otis are on the way back the UK . We offer our sincere condolences to Natascha in this difficult time.

Confirming the reports on Saturday night, the couple's representative said: "We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends."


the not-so-top-secret event was held at Simpson's parents' home in Encino, California and was attended by 150 guests.

Woody Allen’s latest, “Vicki Cristina Barcelona,” a romantic comedy starring Javier Bardem, Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz, turns out to be the filmmaker’s sexiest film yet!

“Vicki” is about painter in Barcelona who strikes up a relationship with two American tourists. Conflict arises when the artist’s ex-galpal comes around.

On the red carpet Jolie was arm in arm with Brad Pitt , as always the looked great , even though she was wearing Nike shoes under the gorgeous green dress, she still looked splendid and very pregnant , supposedly the twins are due on the 19th Aug.

Joaquin Phoenix Album In The Works!

Joaquin Phoenix, who played Johnny Cash on the big screen, is moving from acting to singing.
According to U.K.-born Tim Burgess from The Charlatans , who has lived in Los Angeles for several years, Phoenix a whole album ready , the album came about after Phoenix learned to play guitar in preparation for his role in the 2005 film “Walk the Line,” for which he received an Academy Award nomination.

“Once [Joaquin] learnt guitar [for the Johnny Cash film Walk The Line,] he found that he had quite a lot of demons inside himself that he wanted to expel through music,” says Burgess.
But it seems that the perfectionism that has brought Phoenix acclaim as an actor could prevent the record from ever seeing the light of day.

“All the tracks that me and [Charlatans’ manager Alan McGee] worked with him on were brilliant,” adds Burgess. “But I think he just keep scrapping everything or re-doing everything. I’m sad to say that I think it’s one of those records that may never come out, to be honest with you.”
“It’s an on-going thing,” he continues. “I’m trying to get Alan to force him to put it out at the moment, but I don’t know whether it will [get released].”

Going by what Tim Burgess says maybe Joaquin album may be better that the one produced by Scarlett Johansson
which was absolutely awful!

Band frontman Pete Doherty confirmed the 'Rehab' singer teamed up with guitarist Mick Whitnall in the studio while he was in London's Wormwood Scrubs Prison.

He told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Mick and Amy have a great relationship. They have been working on material while I was in prison. When I came out I went straight to the recording studio. I just want to get the music going. We've been told we will be doing a third album. That will keep me busy and hopefully out of trouble."

The 61st Cannes Film Festival opens officially today
with a screening of Blindness, a thriller about a doctor’s wife who keeps her sight while everybody else mysteriously loses theirs starring Oscar-nominated actress Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo and Mexican actor Gael García Bernal, directed by acclaimed 'City of God’ director Fernando Meirelles,
This is just one of the 22 films competing for the Palme d'Or.
Cannes is the spiritual home of serious arthouse cinema but in the last few years has become a target for blockbuster premiere
like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the fourth in the series starring Harrison Ford, which premieres on Sunday.The franchise has spanned since 1981 when Indy appeared in the cinema for the first time. Which better way that create a buzz around a movie which is not even in the competition to win and has had a quiet bad whispers going around.
Will have to wait till Sunday to actually know how good is the movie and for the winner of the Palm d'Or will have to wait till last day of the festival, May 25.

Angelina Jolie Confirms She's Having Twins

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are having twins, the actress confirmed in an interview today.
Jolie was being interviewed with actor Jack Black in France, where both are appearing at the Cannes Film Festival to promote their new film "Kung Fu Panda."
Black let the news of the twins slip, according to "Access Hollywood," and Jolie confirmed it.
The children with be Jolie and Pitt's fifth and sixth. They've adopted three others and have one other birth child.
Pitt -Jolie are on the way to create their own football team.
I guess that we should thank them for making some many babies which one day will grow up to fill the gossip columns

Sex And The City world premiere in London

Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda came to London last night as Sex And The City's New York style icons arrived for the world premiere of the movie.

The crowd was almost as excited about the leading ladies' outfits as they were about the plot and there were no disappointments on the red carpet at the Odeon Leicester Square, which had been sprinkled with sparkles for the occasion.

There was a certain degree of confusion however as to why the world premiere was held in London rather than in New York, the setting for the television series which is often referred to as the fifth character.

First to arrive was Sarah Jessica Parker, wearing a pale green dress by Alexander McQueen, with her shoes and bag by the same designer. But wearing a quiet unfortunately over the top hat . When asked why the premier was being held in London a diplomatic Parker answered: "We decided to have it here and we're delighted to be here."

Cynthia Nixon, instead wore a floor-length low-cut pleated black Calvin Klein dress and last but not least

Sienna Miller and Rhys Ifans : romance in trouble ?

Rumor has that Sienna and Rhys are going through "their first serious rough patch".

"It has been very strained and things are very sensitive at the moment," a friend tells the Daily Mail. "They are not over, but Sienna has made some tearful long-distance calls to Rhys and has confided to some of the cast on her movie that things aren't great."

"Rhys can be quite jealous and he doesn't like Sienna hanging out with other guys," says the source, "especially Sean [Penn] who she seems to have a serious crush on ".
"She also had lunch with Matthew Rhys in LA in March. They used to date and Rhys is very insecure about him. He wasn't happy they'd met up."
When Sienna returned to the UK several weeks ago, she upset Rhys by taking a few days holiday with her girlfriends instead of spending time with him.

Earlier this month, Lohan was accused of stealing a fur coat after it went missing at a New York nightspot
And now 23-year-old Lauren Hastings has come forward alleging the star has a history of stealing clothes.
Hastings who is currently dating "Transformers" star Shia LeBeouf -- claims the incident occurred when she was hosting a
party that Lohan attended last spring.
She tells "Inside Edition," "Basically ... my closets were emptied. I can be the one person not to let Lindsay get away with this."According to the New York Post, Hastings originally went forward with the story to an entertainment Web site following the incident, but the model insists she reached out to Lohan first: "I contacted Lindsay and said, 'Look, I know you stole my clothes.' She then said I was completely delusional, I was pathetic, I was out of my mind." Like if isn't enough with been accused of stealing, Lohan was also dropped from the Manson Girls film as other actors refused to work with her.
Leslie Sloane , Lindsay spokewoman denied that she been dropped from the film , saying that she would not be appearing in the film due to scheduling issues and other roles.
This is if you want to believe her.
Hopefully Lindsay fashion adventure with her own range of leggings called '6126' will be more successful that her latest film,
if that is the case at least she will have another career to fell on.

Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are finally engaged, it has emerged.

Wilson proposed to Hudson on her 29th birthday last week after he finished filming Marley and Me - and she said yes.

The 29-year-old actress was snapped with a huge engagement ring outside a Boston restaurant on May 8.

The news comes after a year that Wilson attempted suicide when the actress dumped him.

Wilson proposed with the big diamond rock in Miami last week and a pal confirmed that the duo plans a ceremony next year.

“Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the woman he wants to be with for ever. He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional, News Of The World quoted a source, as saying.
“The engagement is a natural step forward for them both and Kate’s ecstatic,” added the source.
We wish them both loads happiness , hopefully will last.
